This weekend workshop introduces the fundamentals of linoleum block printmaking in a supportive, hands‑on setting. Designed for beginners and curious creatives of all backgrounds, the class guides participants through the complete printmaking process—from developing an image and safely carving a linoleum block to inking, printing, and experimenting with multiple impressions.
Participants will learn basic tools, materials, and techniques, explore simple design principles, and gain confidence working with hand printing methods. Emphasis is placed on exploration, creative problem‑solving, and enjoying the tactile nature of printmaking. No prior art or printmaking experience is required.
By the end of the weekend, each participant will leave with a small edition of original prints, a carved block they can continue using, and a solid foundation to pursue linoleum printmaking independently. All skill levels are welcome, and the workshop is suitable for adults and teens who enjoy learning through making.
Advanced students are welcome and will receive individual instruction on more ambitious projects such as multi-colored, reduction, and hand-colored prints.
Class size limited to 10.
Please register early as class registration closes 48 hours before the start of first-class. Registration must be accompanied by full payment
