This is a five week class.
Working with artist Ana Johnson-Moore, students will learn the fundamentals of sketching and drawing in this 5-part class designed for beginners and students who want to hone their skills. Explore line work, composition and texture and learn to bring your ideas to life on paper. No experience necessary, just a desire to learn and have fun. Participants can look forward to learning in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Please register early as class registration closes 48 hours before the start of first-class. Registration must be accompanied by full payment.
Scholarship information:
The Falmouth Art Center is very proud to have a scholarship fund supported by donations from members and friends. It is available for both children and adults who have a great desire to create art. REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.




Ana Johnson-Moore is a visual artist originally from Bucharest, Romania, now based on Cape Cod. Working primarily in watercolor, gouache, and collage, her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the Northeast, featured in national juried shows and art publications, and recognized with multiple awards for excellence in art. Alongside her studio practice, Ana teaches drawing and painting classes for adults, helping students build confidence, understand materials, and discover their creative voice. Her teaching blends solid fundamentals with warmth, humor, and imagination, making art both accessible and personal.
