Both 2D and 3D art work accepted, including photography. There is no theme for this exhibit.
The Falmouth Garden Club will provide beautiful natural arrangements to accompany some of the artwork in the exhibit as part of a collaboration with the Falmouth Art Center called “Petals & Palettes.” However, artwork does not need to have a floral theme.
- Exhibit dates: September 4 – 28
- Receiving date for entries: Tuesday, September 1, 9am to 4pm in person
- Pick up for pieces not accepted into the show: Thursday September 3, 9am to 4pm
- Opening Reception: Friday, September 11 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
- Accepted works will be posted on the Falmouth Art Center website by 6pm on Wednesday September 2
About the Juror: Lillia Frantin
Lillia Frantin received her Masters degree from Pratt Institute, NY in 1968. She was a professor of Painting and Modern Art History for over twenty years, painting and exhibiting professionally in New York, California, New Mexico and Cape Cod. After leaving her professorship to paint full-time in 1991, she traveled and conducted popular workshops while continuing to paint and exhibit throughout the US and Europe. Her credits include one-person museum and gallery exhibitions in Provence, France; London; Barcelona; Boston, Cape Cod, Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard; Scottsdale; Alexandria VA; Palm Desert, California; Los Angeles; Santa Fe; New York City and Palm Beach. Her work has received countless awards and is in many private and museum collections across the United States and abroad.

Submission fees for juried exhibits:
- members: $15 for first entry, $10 for each additional entry.
- nonmembers: $20 for first entry, $15 for each additional work.

- $200 Best in Show
- $100 each- four judge’s awards
Commission:
If an artwork in the exhibit is sold:
Members receive 70% of the sale price.
non-members receive 50% of the sale price.
