Description
Wednesdays, October 23 – November 27
10am to 12:00 pm
This is a six week class.
This class will guide you through a fun and focused process of creating finished and beautiful pieces-
We will begin the series by cutting a grid from the matboard you’ve brought (please refer to the materials list!), and trace the squares onto an art journal or paper (see materials list for desired dimensions).
I will be leading you through a step-by-step set of exciting acrylic mixed media techniques, so that we will create an innovative page of small “samplings”.
From these samplings, we will spend the rest of the classes to choose two that you feel are the most successful, and you will be guided to explore and deepen the samplings, so that they evolve into pieces that are finished. We will also be discussing the solutions artists construct to find pleasing compositions.
All skill levels welcome!
Check the “materials” tab for supplies you’ll need to bring to class.
Please register early as class registration closes 48 hours before the start of first-class. Registration must be accompanied by full payment.
