Back in 2009, a group of artist friends began getting together to paint. They formed the group, South Cape Artists, which grew to include award-winning professional artists whose individual works can be found in collections worldwide.
The six artists in the show are Marian Colman of South Hamilton and Falmouth, Betsy Payne Cook of Mashpee, Bill Noble of Mashpee, Rebecca O’Donnell of Westwood, Candice Ronesi of Forestdale and Arlene C. Weibel of Mashpee.
The South Cape Artists meet throughout the year to critique each other’s work, learn new techniques and mediums, and plan exhibits and events.
In addition to exhibiting their work together, they also pursue individual career achievements.
This fellowship of artists have developed a camaraderie and atmosphere of learning inspired by the beauty of Cape Cod.
