1:00 pm – 4:00 pm (10-Weeks)

Celebrating your love of clay and gardening we will explore the many facets of creating “garden art” From plant pots with proper drainage to herb pots that are as beautiful as they are functional, we will explore a variety of methods and materials while preparing for our spring gardening season! Both wheel skills and handbuilding methods will be demonstrated.
Please, no beginners.

Falmouth Art Center Refund Policy:

Refunds will not be given within one month of the start of a workshop. Workshops are not pro-rated. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.

The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.

Instructor Bio

Seth Rainville is a professional potter, art educator, and independent curator living in New Bedford, Massachusetts. He has taught ceramics at multiple venues including the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, South County Art Association, Arch Contemporary Ceramics, the Mesa Art Center and Phoenix Center for the Arts. He has also conducted over 30 workshops across the country including recent workshops at Harvard Ceramics, Mudflat Ceramics Studio, and at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts. Seth’s teaching style requires students to enjoy the process while learning a strong base of fundamentals.
