DescriptionWednesdays, April 1 – May 6
9:30 am – 12:00 pm
This is a 6 week class.
For Beginning and Intermediate weavers. If you have wanted to try weaving but didn’t know where to start, this is the class for you! This is also for weavers who have experience but want to learn more. New students will begin with a pre-set warp on a two harness loom and enjoy the process of creating a piece of cloth to be a sample, scarf or wall hanging piece before he or she learns how to make a warp. Simple weaving, two color interlock, and insertion of roving or other fibers is taught. Individual interests and goals of more experienced students are addressed as they continue to learn the warping process, dressing of the loom and how to install and remove the inside sets on the two harness looms. Please contact the teacher with any questions or concerns.
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no make-ups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
If Falmouth Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions, we will be closed and the missed classes will be rescheduled.
