Creating a weaving on a small handheld loom is a perfect summer project.  A handheld loom offers possibilities to explore many weaving techniques.  Projects created on a small loom could include decorate wall hangings, pins, necklaces, small pouches, and table mats.

This class is open to beginners and weavers with experience.  The instructor will provide small looms that can be purchased, or you may bring your own loom.

Instruction will include setting up the loom to begin weaving, using colors to explore design with tapestry techniques, and raised techniques for adding texture.

Discussions and demonstrations will include how to finish and remove the weaving from the loom.

All materials provided, including a small hand loom as pictured.  A $28 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of the workshop.
