Tuesdays • 9:30am -12:30pm
January 8th – March 12th (10 Weeks)

You already have strong hand building and/or wheel skills. In this class, we will think about form, volume, line, space, and surface. We’ll work in multiples to create an idea and variations and explore the elements of a strong form. For intermediate and advanced students. 

REFUND POLICY:
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no make-ups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
If Falmouth Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions, we will be closed and the missed classes will be rescheduled.

Materials

Fee includes 25 pounds of clay, glaze and firing fee. A tool kit may be purchased for $14. Open studio time, which is scheduled several times throughout the week, is available at no extra charge.

Instructor Bio

Sue Wadoski holds a BFA from Boston University and had a career in creative services management, communications, and marketing before focusing full time on clay. She studied ceramics at The DeCordova Museum School and at the Harvard University Ceramics Program, and has been teaching and exhibiting her work – most recently, wood fired vessel/sculptures. Her strongest influence is contemporary Japanese ceramics.
