Wednesdays, April 3 – June 5
9:30am – 12:30pm (10 Weeks)

Are you ready to tackle larger scale work? Sarah will demonstrate a variety of techniques to get you there. Wheel students will learn to throw vessels in sections, as well as to throw a base and use coils to build height. Sculpture and handbuilding students will learn to create maquettes, and construct forms using slab, pinch or coil, and internal buttressing. You will begin by drawing your vision. Careful planning is the key to success. Come to the first class with sketches for either a wheel thrown or a handbuilt vessel or sculpture. You can expect to complete one or two larger pieces in the ten-week session.

Refund policy:

Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.

The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.

If Falmouth Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions, we will be closed and the missed classes will be rescheduled.
