This is a 4 week class.
The iPad is great for drawing, painting, and making all different sorts of collage images. One of the great things about digital art is that you cannot make a mistake, everything can be changed or undone. For many of us, this frees us to take more chances and be more creative in our work.
In this class we will explore some of the possibilities of the iPad app, Procreate. In the first session we will get used to the Procreate interface and learn how to use the app to make paintings and drawings. Once we feel comfortable with the app, we will explore using Procreate to make collage style images. We will talk also talk about how to save and print your images.
Participants should have a basic knowledge of how to use their iPads. iPads need to be running iOS 16.3 or later to work with the app. The app Procreate can be downloaded from the App Store and costs $12.99. I recommend using an Apple Pencil. There are two versions, so be sure to get one that works with your iPad. Refund Policy:
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class and one month before the start of a workshop. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
