Description
Saturdays, June 28th – August 2
9:00 am – 11:30 am
This is a 6 week class.
This short course will focus almost entirely on learning/developing skills on the wheel, emphasizing the making of functional pottery: mugs, bowls, vases, and pitchers. Participants’ interests in other forms and processes will be seriously considered, time permitting.
Bring an apron or an old towel to protect your clothes. We sell sturdy aprons in red, black and tan at Falmouth Art Center for $28 if you need to purchase one.
Note about Clay Studio use: For those in Gary’s summer ceramics class, the class is 6 weeks long and every student gets two additional weeks of access to the Clay Open Studio. Clay Studio access would end on August 16.
We have a special rate for students who want to continue using the Clay Studio after August 16 to the end of the session on September 13.
The rate is $125 to use the Clay Studio from Sunday, August 17 until the session ends on Saturday, September 13.
Let us know if you would like to do this. You can let us know by August 16.
If you do want to participate in this extra Studio Access, you can pay with a credit card over the phone: 508-540-3304 or with cash or a check.
