Thursday, April 24, 5 to 8pm
This class will teach the basics of needle felting to create a whimsical mushroom that will grace any space. Needle felting is an easy way to create by simply using a felting needle and wool. No previous felting experience required.
Materials Needed: All supplies will be provided.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class and one month before the start of a workshop. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
Cheryl Flett was born and raised in Chicago and holds a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Illinois State University. People and art are her passion. She discovered the wonderful world of the fiber arts. Being a self-taught traditional wet and needle felter, there was a big learning curve. Trial and Error were her best friends. Once becoming comfortable with the art of felting, she has expanded her world with spinning, tapestry weaving and fiber and processing. She now resides in Massachusetts and her world has become much fuller. Cheryl’s friends, Trial and Error still walk beside her and that is what makes her thrive.
