This workshop is for artists with experience in printmaking.
Explore the many possibilities of gesture marks, ink qualities, viscosity, improvisation with stencils, a variety of tools and found materials. There is an energy in the results that leads us with the spontaneity inherent to this kind of printmaking.
We will use Akua inks, a popular non toxic product that uses a plant base oil for easy clean up.
Inks /brayers /glass palettes / plexiglass plates for transfer of designs and paper will be provided.
There is a materials fee of $25 due to the instructor on the first day of class (cash or check). See the materials tab to find out what you need to bring with you to class.
