The gel plate is becoming more and more popular among beginners, but also professional artists. The silicon plate acts as a printing tool that is simple to use, however, can yield extraordinary results. The basic equipment consists of a gel plate, a brayer, acrylic paint and paper. This workshop is designed for beginners and people who have already had experience with the gel plate.
The first half of the session will be about the basics of gel printing and stencil making. In the 2nd half, we will create more prints and apply the handmade stencils.
We will discuss the color palette and shapes of the Mid Century Art. By layering the prints, we will create fun and interesting art works.
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class and one month before the start of a workshop. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
