This is a 6 week class for students ages 10-13
Strengthen your drawing and painting skills in this fun and challenging class! Students will explore different drawing and painting techniques including shading and realism, watercolor landscapes, acrylic abstraction and more. Each week will incorporate various warm-up practices before shifting into a specific project.
Our Health and Safety Plan:
·Students may wear masks if they want to but they are not required.
·Students are asked to wash their hands when they begin their art class at Falmouth Art Center. Students are encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer during the class and after class.
·We practice social distancing of 3 feet during kids classes.
·We use portable HEPA filters in the classrooms that filter the air every 15 minutes in addition to our built in HEPA filters.
The Falmouth Art Center is very proud to have a scholarship fund supported by donations from members and friends. It is available for both children and adults who have a great desire to create art. This class will cover the basics of drawing and watercolor painting and including outside time to sketch from nature. Bring a beach or camp chair or towel to sit on when we go outside, weather permitting. If your child brings a snack to class, please make sure it is peanut-free.
Refunds will not be given within one week of the start of a class. Classes are not pro-rated, and there are no makeups for missed classes. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.
The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
