Description
Wednesdays, May 8th to June 12th
10am to 12:00 pm
This is a six week class.
Acrylic paint, acrylic mediums and collage offer a world of possibility for creative self-expression. Their properties provide flexible and forgiving qualities to explore. Starting with basic collage and acrylic paint techniques, we will create pieces from a prompt for each class. The focus of the prompts will give structure and include demonstrations, to familiarize you with the process of acrylic mixed-media collage, and specific techniques.
Prompts will touch on topics like- color, composition, form, line-work and achieving desired outcomes. Lively group discussions will embellish our class experience, and offer an atmosphere of play and creativity.
Some familiarity with an art practice is encouraged but not a prerequisite for this class.
Check the “materials” tab for supplies you’ll need to bring to class.
Please register early as class registration closes 48 hours before the start of first-class. Registration must be accompanied by full payment.
