This workshop is also being offered on April 17th, May 15th, and June 19th.  Call the Falmouth Art Center at 508-540-3304 or keep your eye on the website if you would like to register for one of these dates.

Paint large! Experience the fun, freedom, and spontaneity of using large inexpensive brushes to create paintings. Using big brushes and water-mixable oil or acrylic paints, full-time artist Joe Gallant will demonstrate and guide you through the steps of creating your own seascape or landscape painting that just might become a focal point in your home or office!

New this year! Learn Joe’s Big Brush technique to create both large and medium size paintings.

You will complete your own oil or acrylic painting during this fun one-day socially-distanced workshop. Joe will provide a reference photo of a scene that will be painted. Suitable for adult beginners, intermediate painters, and past participants in Joe’s workshops.

If you have ever felt unsure of yourself when you start a painting, here’s your chance to learn an exciting technique that just might change the way you paint forever!

Students must wear a mask and provide their own supplies — see list below. Wear clothing to paint in and bring a newspaper, old sheet or tarp to protect your car upholstery from wet paint on the ride home.

Falmouth Art Center Refund Policy:

Refunds will not be given within one month of the start of a workshop. Workshops are not pro-rated. A $25 processing fee is withheld from all refunds.

The Art Center reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment, in which case tuition will be fully refunded.
