Working on the pottery wheel, we’ll create functional wares for use at home! Whether you are new to the wheel or have some experience we’ll keep developing your skills to push you to the next level!
You might want to bring a snack and dress to be messy. If your child brings a snack to class, please make sure it is peanut-free.
The clay artwork your child makes in this camp requires a few steps before it is ready to pick up, including two kiln firings. The work may take up to three weeks after the camp ends before it is ready to pick up.
Our Health and Safety Plan:
·The Summer Camps take place outside, weather permitting.
·Students may wear masks if they want to but they are not required.
·Students are asked to wash their hands when they begin their art class at Falmouth Art Center. Students are encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer during the class and after class.
·We use portable HEPA filters in the classrooms that filter the air every 15 minutes in addition to our built in HEPA filters.
