Peter Lunn, who grew up in Woods Hole, started painting as a creative outlet during a time when he had a very technical day job. In an attempt to loosen up his style, he arrived at an interesting method of mixing oil paint and wax and using a palette knife to paint the image.
Mr. Lunn will discuss and demonstrate some of his painting techniques in this artist talk/demo.
Mr. Lunn’s work is on display this month in the show, “Creative Expressions: A Weaver, A Painter, A Photographer” in the Sigel Gallery at Falmouth Art Center. The show also includes the weaving art of his wife, Lynne Francis-Lunn, also a Falmouth native, and the photography of Greg Anderson.
