Falmouth Public Schools Second Annual Celebration of Juneteenth: Leave a Legacy through Art!
This exhibit features K-12 student artwork for the Juneteenth Poster Contest in which student artists had the opportunity to develop a 2022 Commemorative Poster. Exhibit on display in the Falmouth Art Center’s first floor classroom through July 11.
Falmouth Public Schools, in collaboration with community partners, hosted this contest for student artists across all grades to have their artwork recognized and displayed on a Commemorative poster. Students created art that represented key moments in history and/or celebrated what Juneteenth means to them.
Falmouth Public Schools, Falmouth’s No Place for Hate Steering Committee, Falmouth Art Center, West Falmouth Library, Woods Hole Historical Museum, The Gallery on Main, Waquoit Congregational Church, Falmouth Museums on the Green, Martha’s Vineyard Bank and Falmouth Public Library have partnered to offer this contest.
