On display from March 1 to 31 in the Sigel Gallery at Falmouth Art Center
Acclaimed artist Beverley Edwards (1934 – 2021) was among the local artists who founded the Falmouth Artists Guild in the 1960s. Ms. Edwards passed away in 2021, and her daughter, Ashley Edwards, has put together this special exhibit of her mother’s work.
This exhibit offers a glimpse of Beverley Edwards’s passion for the natural world exemplified in her botanicals and landscapes phase in the 1980s through the 1990s. For over 45 years, Ms. Edwards taught a variety of courses and workshops in drawing, painting, printmaking, and papermaking, inspiring hundreds of students and budding artists.
