The Falmouth Art Center is partnering with the League of Women Voters to put on a Voter Art Competition, a show of artwork that encourages people to vote in the upcoming election. This is a juried show for work in any and all media with the theme of Getting Out The Vote.

Cash prizes will be awarded by a team consisting of League of Women Voters members and Falmouth Art Center members. Local high school students will also be invited to submit work. The show will be displayed inside in one of our classroom spaces with some work displayed outside as well.

Submission is FREE and open to the public!

Rolling submission to October 20. Works will hang in the first-floor classroom.

3 prizes, $25 gift cards, for the three top entries that best express the theme of encouraging voting will be sponsored by the League of Women Voters. The work by teenagers will be judged separately by the League and school officials.

In line with the League of Women Voters mission, the art submitted for this show needs to be non-partisan.
For those who can’t resist getting partisan–this is a particularly heated Presidential race after all!–we will have a separate space at the Art Center for partisan artwork about this year’s election and we welcome submissions for that as well!

Submissions are invited on a rolling basis to October 20.
