Juror: Hillary Osborn of Osborn Rugh Gallery in Falmouth
Hillary said she really enjoyed all the pieces in the show. “Each piece is compelling and worthy of honor and praise,” she said. For the blue ribbons, she was looking for works that drew her in from across the room and she felt they were “transformative.” She said it is important for people to know that if their work was not selected for a blue ribbon, it just means that on this day, something caught her attention and she had “a very quick reaction” on a different piece. Those were the ones that received blue ribbons.
